Great Alpine Road, Victoria
Cut & Fill were awarded the contract for the construction, reconstruction, realignment and widening works at various sites on the Great Alpine Road. An important element of this multi site management contract was the environmental management which required the identification and protection of threatened, indigenous, and non- indigenous flora and fauna. Construction was in rocky, mountainous country and involved considerable community consultation and communication to ensure residents and road users were informed of the work’s progress.
