Kananook Creek Boulevard, Frankston
This (partial) Design and Construct Contract with the Frankston City Council involves the upgrade and beautification of public areas along Kananook Creek Boulevard.

Working to architectural drawings and requirements, the scope of works includes:

  • Installation of a new creek wall composed of 90 pre-cast concrete panels with a corrugate profile and structurally supported by galvanized steel “”H” piles between each panel
  • Exposed aggregate footpaths using coloured cements and aggregates so to achieve the “sandy” tones required by the architect
  • Installation of Porphyry Stone shared user paths using stone sourced and imported from Italy
  • Design & Construction of a new bridge at Davey Street to accommodate both pedestrians and vehicular access to the Frankston Yacht club
  • Relocation and Installation of new and existing services
  • Reconfigure and new pavement to Playne St and Davey St
  • Timber decking and curved concrete seats to architect’s requirements including 3 dimensional pattern
  • Installation of temporary silt curtain along creek wall to prevent silt run-off into the creek, maintaining healthy turbidity levels; and
  • Soft Landscaping and Garden Bed construction.
